Tangaza University College in collaboration with Umma University held the Muslim Christian Engagement Conference on 11th – 12th of April 2018 at Tangaza premises.The conference brought together believers from  bothChristianity and Islam ; they discussed the role of academic institutions in the interfaith engagement.

Keynote speaker was H.E Bishop Miguel Ayuso Secretary of the Pontifical Council for intereligious Dialogue at the Vatican. He gave a speech on Muslim – Christian Engagement for Social Transformation in Africa.

Other distinguished guests included Prof. Idle Farah Vice Chancellor Ummah University, Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of Iran Mahmoud Majlesain, Sayyid Muhammad Reza Moddares and Khoddami Mohmed Hussein from Qom Iran. Amongst others.
