Kenyan Quran Hafiz (Memoriser) AbdulAlim Abdulrahim emerge 2nd in the 39th edition of Iran’s International Holy Quran Competitions

The final round of the 39th edition of Iran’s International Holy Quran Competitions kicked off on February 18, 2023, in Tehran
The top prize in the memorization category went to Sina Tabbakhi from Iran. Abdulalim Abdulrahim from Kenya emerged the second and Sheikh Mahmud Hassan from Bangladesh third.

The event has been organized by Iran’s Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization with the participation of 52 male and female contestants from 33 countries.

Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi graced the ceremony, held at the Tehran Summit Hall,  also in attendance were  senior officials, including Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Mohammad Mehdi Esmaeili, and Education Minister Yousef Nouri.
